Women's circle

Challah bakes, a monthly Rosh Chodesh evening, and a group of women who show up for each other — with meals when a baby comes and a phone call when a week is hard. Led by the Rebbetzin.

The women's circle began in 2013 with six women and a bag of flour in the Rebbetzin's kitchen. Today it's eighty women on the list, a monthly evening that sells out, and a meal train that has fed every new mother and every mourning family in the community since.

Once a month, and in between

What the circle does

Rosh Chodesh evenings

The new Jewish month, marked with a speaker, a workshop or a cooking class — and dessert.

Challah bakes

We knead, braid and say the blessing on separating challah together. Everyone takes two loaves home.

The meal train

Dinners for families with a new baby, a hospital stay or a loss. Sign up to cook, or to receive.
